URBAN BARN DANCE 2011:

Everybody’s gonna be there on Thursday, October 20th at 6:30pm at the Dante Alighieri Cultural Center in Kendall Square, Cambridge for the 4th annual harvest celebration and farmers market benefit! Prepare yourself for a seasonal feast served up by CHEF BOB SARGENT of Flora restaurant, Chef Chris Schlesinger of East Coast Grill and Chef Paul O’Connell of Chez Henri followed by live music, contra dancing and a spectacular silent auction!

FOOD DAY 2011:

On Monday, October 24th CHEF BOB SARGENT offers a very special Pre-Fixe Menu alongside our regular mdinner menu in honor of FOOD DAY – a national initiative to highlight efforts to promote safe, healthy foods, protect the environment & animals, and support fair conditions for food and farm workers. CHEF SARGENT will feature locally produced ingredients made with simple preparations to show off the natural “Deliciousness” of the foods. Reservations recommended.

ARTIST RECEPTION FOR VICTOR ORTALE:

A reception will be held at flora restaurant on Saturday, October 15th 12-3:30pm to celebrate the beautiful paintings by Victor Ortale that currently grace the restaurant’s walls! Come by for a glass of wine, a nip of cheese and join the artist as we thank him for allowing us to decorate flora with his gorgeous works!

A TASTE OF ARLINGTON 2011:

On Tuesday, October 25th flora takes its show on the road and goes head-to-head with other local eateries athe the Annual Taste of Arlington! One ticket gets you access to Arlington Town Hall for a night of sampling all that our wonderful town has to offer! Show ‘em how it’s done, Bob!
