Quebrada makes a selection of wheat-free homemade desserts just lovely for Passover meals and family gatherings. Made only this time of year, Quebrada’s very special Roulade is a rich flour-free chocolate roll filled with fresh whipped cream, dusted with powered sugar and accented with fresh chocolate-dipped strawberries. It serves up to 12.

Then there’s Quebrada’s Chocolate Mouse Cups – a sophisticated and lovely treat for the table, this year offered in petite, and special for-the-holidays-only large triple-size!

For coconut lovers, Quebrada offers fresh homemade plain and chocolate-dipped Macaroons. Love almonds and chocolate? Then you’ll revel in the exquisite taste and texture of our rich Florentine cookies.

 The Legacy of ‘That Crazy Bunny’ A family and bakery tradition, ‘Bunny Cake’ made its first visit to the Quebrada bakeries over 20 years ago, during the period when it was primarily a breakfast bakery. Not just any Easter Cake, the Quebrada ‘Bunny’ has a story and personality all its own.

The Tradition(s) of Hot-Cross Buns

Quebrada Baking Co. makes tasty fresh-baked Hot-Cross Buns, traditionally served during Lent, but especially on Good Friday. Made with a whole-wheat blend flour, it’s a yeasted bun with spices and dried fruit, and a very light frosting glaze.

 Easter Cupcakes & Cakes

Yes, ‘Bunny’ also inspires Quebrada to bake fresh and delightfully decorated Cupcakes, both Petite and Full Size. Bring home a dozen in varied themes, decorations, frosting, and cake flavors. And for lovely easy-serve presentation, try matching a smaller decorated cake and some Petite cupcakes to match – just the perfect size for smaller hands, or those who’d like ’just the right amount’ of dessert to accent that Easter meal.

 Easter Bread

During Easter only, Quebrada fashions their braided rich egg dough into a wreath shape and bake to a golden brown, witha hard-boiled decorated Easter egg nestled in the center. It’s a lovely and unique table decoration reminiscent of simpler times. As tasty as it looks, it’s a real crowd pleaser.

Advance ordering is suggested with all Quebrada baked goods & desserts to ensure a complete selection. Simply call 24-48 hours to have yours fresh-made the day you pick them up.

The Ukrainian art of Pysanky is a tradition of bringing joy into the world by decorating eggs, the universal symbol of new life.

Learn how to apply beeswax using a kistka, and how to layer dyes to make your own unique design. Traditional patterns are provided, or you can make your own. Class fee of $20pp includes all materials.

NOTE: this class is also open to children age 10 and older with an adult who is also registered; no refreshments served at this class. Advance registration required, space is limited.

13Forest is hosting an Artist’s reception from 7-9 pm for an artist reception with Ordo naturalis artists Anne Cavanaugh and Kyle Larabee.

 13Forest Art Gallery will be premiering a new show Ordo naturalis ( Reception 2/10 7-9 pm) featuring new work from Anne Cavanaugh and Kyle Larabee.
