Artbeat Your Creativity Store holds its annual Valentine Card Making Extravaganza on Sat Feb 11, 3:00-6:00pm. Choose from their colorful cards, lace doilies, paper hearts, ribbon, confetti, and more to create the perfect card for someone special or the whole class!( $12/pp )
Saturday February 11 6:00 to 8:00: Adult Card Making Workshop Create a unique and beautiful card for someone extra special. Enjoy a wide variety of extraordinary papers, beautiful stamps, and creative cutouts to make a truly stunning card for your loved ones.($12/pp ages 13 and up)
Sunday February 12: Valentine Cookie Reception 3:00 – 6:00 PM Come in to Artbeat and enjoy delicious treats while making a delightful free V-Day project: create a lovely votive candle holder with fun heart shapes to celebrate the season.
13Forest Art Gallery will be premiering a new show Ordo naturalis ( Reception 2/10 7-9 pm) featuring new work from Anne Cavanaugh and Kyle Larabee.
13Forest will also hold a Jewelry Trunk Show featuring Caroline Golden 2/11 Sat, 12-2 pm, as well as Special Valentine’s Day Eve hours 2/13 Mon, 5-8 pm
Flora Restaurantwill be serving a pre-fixe 3 course menu including some surprises (an extra course, bags of home made chocolates and roses for the couples if you MUST know!). Price: $75 per person. They will also be offering a “For Lover’s Only” 3 course set menu in addition to the regular menu for the entire Valentine Weekend including Monday, February 3rd.
